The PT12X-NDI-GY camera from PTZOptics provides 1080p60 simultaneously over HDMI, SDI and NDI or IP. NewTek’s NDI protocol provides low latency access to audio and video devices anywhere on the network. The 12X-NDI includes an NDI license so it is ready to go right out of the box.
It has a 3.5 to 42.3mm lens with 12x zoom, ideal for meeting rooms and small classrooms. The NDI versions of the PTZOptics 12x are ideal for streaming. They perform well in low light thanks to the f/1.8 to 2.8 aperture and minimum illumination of 0.5lux. Wide dynamic range and 2D and 3D noise reduction further enhance the experience. It can be powered by PoE or the included power supply. It offers RS232 and RS485 control, audio line-in for HDMI and NDI/IP streaming, and 10 presets via the included IR remote control or 255 via serial or IP control.
PTZ camera with NDI|HX, CV, SDI, HDMI and IP outputs, designed for use in flexible live streaming and video production environments. PTZOptics’ lens quality and control capabilities offer endless possibilities for HD capture. Includes support for NDI, NewTek’s industry-leading IP technology.
All NDI PTZOptics cameras support power, video/audio and control, all via a single Ethernet cable, simplifying installation and configuration of live streaming systems. Thanks to NDI support, native integration with NewTek video software and third party NDI support is guaranteed.
It has 1080p high-definition video output, with lossless 12X optical zoom, which allows you to get considerably closer to the characters. All 12X models offer a wide field of view, with the ability to zoom up to an angle of only 3.9°.
The camera simultaneously produces 1080p/60fps video in HDMI and 3G-SDI, plus multiple IP streams, H.264/H.265/MJPEG, for maximum flexibility. 3G-SDI cabling is ideal for working with 1080p video at 60fps over long distances, but all SDI cameras also incorporate HDMI output up to 1080p. PTZOptics HD-SDI camera models also include PoE (Power Over Ethernet), so the Ethernet port can be used for power, control and video/audio. Each camera has a 3.5mm audio input, which can be used to insert audio. HD-SDI models support integration of audio, via line-level input, into HDMI and Ethernet for IP streaming.
The cameras, in addition to control by NDI|HX and IP, include RS-232 input/output ports and RS-485. These ports use VISCA protocol commands to integrate with most common control systems. Modules are available for download from the manufacturer’s website. PTZOptics has an updated iOS camera control application available from the Apple Store and a free Android application. Controls built into the video production software or by a hardware joystick driver can be used. There are free IP camera drivers for Mac, PC and OBS.
All cameras have the ability to stream live from the camera to your CDN. Simply enter the RTMP streaming information from the CDN into the camera’s IP interface to start the streaming. They include H.265 “High-Efficiency Codec” IP Streaming together with H.264 and multicast streaming.
