Built for the rough-and-tumble world of production, the lightweight, all-metal components include two bodypack transmitters with SR-M1 omnidirectional lavalier mics, along with a two-channel receiver that’s ready to plug into your DSLR/mirrorless camera, recorder, or smartphone (with a cable available separately). There is also a 3.5mm TRS to two XLR output Y-cable for connecting the receiver to a professional camera or mixer equipped with XLR inputs.

The TX9 96-Channel Digital UHF Wireless Bodypack Transmitter with Lavalier Mic from Saramonic is a compact transmitter that employs a crystal-controlled PLL synthesizer. It can be used when paired with an RX9 receiver (sold separately) to capture audio for interviews, broadcast TV, electronic news gathering (ENG), and other audio broadcasting and recording applications.
Featuring 96 channels in two groups, an easy-to-read LCD display, over 330′ operating range, a mute function, and a BMP-type 1/8″ mic input, the bodypack transmitter has an RF power output that can be switched among high, middle, and low settings. It is designed to capture rich, crystal-clear sound and includes a lapel clip, and a windscreen.
The Saramonic UwMic9-RX9 dual-channel camera-mount wireless receiver gives you the ability to simultaneously receive audio from two UwMic9-TX9 transmitters.
You can record two separate people to your DSLR/mirrorless camera without requiring a second receiver, keeping your rig portable and compact, with one less component to worry about.
Fast and easy to set up with frequency auto-scan and IR sync functions, the UwMic9-RX9 lets you capture clear and natural speech for projects ranging from YouTube vlogs and wedding videos to corporate spots and interviews.
- The UWMIC9’s Auto Scan feature searches among 96 frequencies to find the cleanest available frequency for you, while the built-in infrared sync makes linking the transmitters (available separately) and receiver a snap.
- Easy-to-understand menus and controls along with a backlit LCD display allows you to make quick adjustments under varying lighting conditions.
- A headphone output enables real-time audio monitoring, especially useful if your camera lacks a headphone output.
- The receiver’s output can be switched between mono and stereo modes. In mono, the two mics are mixed together and recorded as an identical mono signal on both the left and right channels in your camera. In stereo, each mic is kept separate and recorded discretely to the left and right channels in your camera.
- Power is supplied via AA batteries for up to 6 hours of battery life.
- The system offers a maximum distance of up to 330’ and supports up to 8 mics at once on set.
The Saramonic SR-UM10-CC1 is a breakout cable that connects to the 3.5mm output of UwMic9, VmicLink5, UwMic10, and UwMic15 wireless microphone systems, or LavMic audio mixer, so you can send two separate audio output signals to the XLR inputs of a professional video camera or other pro-audio gear—such as a mixer.
The cable is terminated with a 3.5mm TRS male connector at one end and two 3-pin XLR male connectors at the other.
